Pit

It seems that this game was played in the 19th century by the greengrocers of Brussels in the boxes which were used for cutting the spinage.

The players are placed behind a line about 2.50 meter from another line which is passing through a gate called the « mijole ».

The players are now throwing 6 coins.

Each coin into the « mijole » counts for 3 points. The coins touching the line are counting for 2 points each. The coins in the box are good for 1 point each and the coins outside the box are minus 1 point each.

The player with the highest score is the winner.
